Beck Tea Bagging Parties Bring out the Best Wackos – Brainwashing and Book Burning on Tap

Lord help them…

Below is a clip from a Glenn Beck Tea Party.  Here’s what I learned:

First, based on the initial statements regarding the Constitution Party and the Libertarian Party, they’re not very organized.

Second, they’re not very smart.  The main speaker believes that everything happening today started back in the 50s by the communists.  In order for this theory to work, you would need to forget that the Eastern Block fell in the 80s and accept the idea that every leader since the 50s was manipulated by communist insiders who oversaw good times and bad, with a goal of collapsing the US economy in 2008, just in time to make sure that Barack Obama, a black man with a funny name, is elected President of the United States of America.  If that sounds crazy, try typing it.

The way this guy tells it, it’s all brainwashing and good marketing!  Just look at Obama’s logo!  This guy should know, he’s in marketing!  Wait, I thought it was a communist conspiracy.

For more brainwashing proof, this guy points to the digital television transition.  He says it’s just a ploy to put boxes in everybody’s home, which are, ta-da, “brainwashing machines.”  Again, forget that all the channels are just as they were without the boxes.

Third, and this is most important, don’t let your kids go to college.  Professors are brainwashing them.  Make sure to keep them stupid so they can sound more like this poor, misinformed soul.  These tea baggers believe that ignorance is bliss, unless you spend your days putting those reading skills to use by visiting conspiracy and wacky, conservative websites.  I suppose they’re arming themselves with…um…knowledge.

Finally, one woman in the room actually says “burn the books” to a smattering of cheers.  Why?  Because, according to her, they teach “the evolution crap.”  Yes, they’re applauding the idea of book burning at tea bagging fests.

Yes, Lord, please help these poor souls.

April 16th can’t come soon enough.  Then these people can go back to what they do best, fashioning better tin hats.

***UPDATE***

I have been informed that this was not a Tea Party.  Instead, it was a 912 Party.  The name may change but the content stays the same!

  1. Dear Andrew,
One of my kids was born on the 15th. He reads books as opposed to burning them. He also has plans to go to college and has a sponge brain. I don't want to be judgemental, but, should I be concerned?
    Sincerely,
    Worried Teabagger and mom

  3. For the record the actress in the video has already been outed. The whole thing is staged.
Not that Beckerheads aren't nutty but why don't we just report the real stuff and not the staged stuff.

  4. Richard,

Where's the proof? Suppose she's right, why were there people applauding her sentiment? Liberal plants?

  5. That wacko is projecting again. He doesn't know the real conspiracy His dates are about right, the Neocons started with Leo Strauss in the '50s and unlike the Communists are still actively subverting America with brainwashing on Faux Snooze among other things.
