Here’s an interesting conversation between Keith Olbermann and Michael Moore regarding the General Motors bankruptcy. I find the last minute or so the most interesting. Moore explains that as the country went into World War II, Flint, Michigan was able to retool their factories from making cars to making planes, guns, and tanks in about a week. He argues that instead of continuing to make last centuries vehicles, let’s retool to create the next generation of transportation, including trains and energy collectors.
You can read Moore’s article here, where he approaches the same topic with greater detail.
